Associate Veterinarian
Dr. Michelle Chase
Dr. Chase is a New Hampshire native who grew up living above a veterinary clinic. Consequently, she has had a bunch of pets including dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, horses and an amazon parrot. Even before she knew it, she was destined to become a veterinarian. She earned a dual bachelor’s degree from UNH in general biology and international affairs.
In 2024, Dr. Chase graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. During her time in school, she sought out all opportunities to practice wildlife and exotic medicine by volunteering at The Raptor Center and the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota. These experiences helped solidify her passion for avian medicine. She completed an externship at Hopkinton Animal Hospital during her clinical year and knew right away she wanted to become part of the team.
Dr. Chase has a strong interest in soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, and wildlife rehabilitation. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the New Hampshire Veterinary Medical Association, the American Avian Veterinary Association, and the National Wildlife Rehabilitators Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Chase likes to hike the White Mountains with her boyfriend and dog, Rosko, kayak, snowboard, and get comfy with her cats and a good book.
