State and Federal law requires that your cat stay with us in a specially designed i-131 treatment suite for approximately five days, until their radioactivity levels reduce to a safe level for the general population. We know that separation from a loved pet can be difficult, so Hopkinton Animal Hospital has created a way for you to virtually “visit” your pet while here in isolation.
